ABOUT WILSONVILLE FRIENDS OF THE LIBRARY

Wilsonville Friends of the Library, founded in 1982, is a grass-roots nonprofit organization whose mission is to support the Library, to promote its services, and to enhance its value throughout the community.

We Support

We support and promote Library services that inform, educate, and entertain the entire community,
to include:

  • Heritage Collection
  • Cultural Passes
  • Access to the Internet
  • Booknotes concerts
  • Storytime
  • Children, Adults and Teens Summer Reading Program

We Manage

We provide financial support to the Wilsonville Library by operating the Twice Sold Tales Bookstore. We use the income from the book sales to enhance the library’s services and programs, to acquire special items for its collection, and to purchase needed but unbudgeted equipment.

We Volunteer

We rely on volunteers to run our bookstore and assist when ever the Library needs help to accomplish special activities. We have a range of shifts for friendly faces to help customers and no experience is necessary. If you’d like to help out, click here.

OUR GOALS AND MISSION
